How long does the pregnancy hormone last in a woman after giving birth?

I gave birth in August and just yesterday I took a home pregnancy test and it came back positive. Is it picking up my last pregnancy?

  Pregnancy and create milk are separate to maintain pregnancy hormones needed to maintain pregnancy and create milk are still low the chances are breast feeding the hormones leave your body right after having baby.
